TELNET
TELNET consist of two words TELecommunication NETwork.
Telnet is a protocol application layer used on internet or
local area network to provide a bidirectional interactive text-oriented
communication facility using virtual terminal connection.
It’s developed in 1969.
Telnet provides access to a command-line interface (usually
of an operating system) on remote host.
In windows Telnet services are mainly in off mode you have
to first start it.
1.
Click on control
panel.
2.
Click on Program
or program features.
3.
Click on
Turn windows features on or off.
4.
A pop
menu open there you can search
Telnet client and Telnet server.
5.
Check both the option.
6.
Click OK.
7.
Then a
pop menu open and ask you to wait
for minutes for several changes.
8.
Then click ctrl
+r (To open Run command).
9.
Type services.msc
10.
Then a pop menu open and title is services.
11.
There you search for telnet.
12.
Right-click
on telnet and select properties.
13.
A pop menu open title name “Telnet Properties”.
14.
Go to Startup
type and click drag and drop option.
15.
There you can select Automatic or manual.(if
you choose automatic then your telnet services automatically on when you start your pc. But in manual you have to
come back to the services and start it.)

Then click Apply
then you see a start button active.
17.
Click on Start
Button.
18.
Then you click
on Ok.
19.
Now, you can check by typing telnet on run command
box. If like below image seen that mean
you telnet services active.
20.
Now, you can type open command.
21.
Click Enter
Key.
26.
Now, you can access all the files and folders of
your connecting computer.
